On My Way
I am on my way! Currently, I am sitting in the Los Angeles airport during a five-hour layover before I get on board my long flight to Auckland. Today has been somewhat surreal as I have been actually experiencing the plans that I have been talking about for some time now. God’s timing and location are so beyond my imaginations! He is good!
Once I arrive, I will hit the ground running. After spending my first night at an Easter camp, I will make my way up to the northern part of the island to go on a tour with middle school students that are apart of the Youth for Christ Whangerai ministry. Once we arrive back in Whangerai, I will stay there for a few days until I travel with their team down to Wanganui. It will be immediate immersion into the culture and life! Exciting!
How you can pray:
*Praise Him for bringing me safely this far!
*Praise Him for His faithfulness and strength during the goodbyes and getting ready to go
*Pray for energy as I jump into the ministry
*Pray for the interactions I will have with the students on the trip
*Pray for the transition into the culture to go smoothly and that I would grow and learn to laugh at my mistakes/learning experiences. ☺
