Whose Name Tastes So Sweet

Filed under: Blog - Melody @ 3:50 am

While chatting with some girls at Girls College today I learned from one of the Indian students that there is a lolly in India called “Melody”. Sure enough I looked it up online and this nice toffee candy can be covered in chocolate, elaichi and butter. Check it out at: http://www.tradeindia.com/Exporters_Suppliers/Exporter9641.902C/Confectionaries.html . Also, while being here I discovered a brand of gloves at the $2 Shop that are called Melody. What’s up with all that? Pretty cool I think. :)

  1. I considered just saying “Sweet!”, but the pun would likely be too awful.

They have $2 shops? …are they called “Two Dollar General”? Or perhaps “Two-sday Morning”? *Cringe* Sorry!

  2. Nice puns on the $2 shop and thanks for not getting too punny on the candy bit. :) The song for the $2 shop is quite catchy- “The two dollar shop, the two dollar shop. Shop till you drop at the two dollar shop.” Think of it as a little more expensive version of the Dollar Tree. :)

  3. Or maybe I should think of it as “Dollar Trees”?
